Jason Ryan is an industry expert with nearly 2 decades of leadership.

Beginning his journey at Disneyland, he spent 7 years at the helm of design for the Disney Stores.

As Vice President of Creative at Disguise, Jason partnered on properties such as Minions, Minecraft and Pokemon —and of course Disney.

Jason is also a skilled tailor of high end fashion for both men and women—lending his talents to red carpet, print, television, music videos and runway. He has also rapidly gained attention as one of the most watched breakout designers with his namesake brand, Jason Ryan—an avant-garde fashion label.

Hailing from Los Angeles, Jason studies at Pratt Institute and Fashion Institute of Technology before graduating with a BFA from American InterContinental University. Some of his clients include Walt Disney Entertainment, Rachel Zoe, DreamWorks, and Universal Studios.

In 2018, Jason founded A Leading Role. Debuting at FAO Schwarz Holiday Boutique, ALR launched its first costume capsule inspired by the Nutcracker. Since then, A Leading Role has partnered with Chasing Fireflies, Disney, Universal, Sanrio, and Netflix.

Jason never stops imagining—and pushing for the design, detail and drama that make dress up dreams come true.
